Victoria Lee Perreira passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, in Pleasant Grove, Alabama, at the age of 76. Born on August 22, 1949, in Tallassee, Alabama, Victoria's life spanned nearly eight decades, during which she touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and steadfast kindness.

Victoria's roots were deep in Alabama, where she grew up surrounded by family and the nurturing sense of community that shaped her values and character. She was the beloved daughter of the late John Hamilton McLain, III and Vivian Ian Hornsby McLain and her memory will be forever intertwined with theirs.

McLain, and Gloria Fomby, as well as her brother, John McLain, IV, her legacy lives on through her surviving family. She is deeply mourned by her brother Joe McLain and by her nieces and nephews, whose lives were enriched by her unwavering support and affection.
