Mr. Terry D. Hathcock, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born November 29, 1951 to James David Hathcock, Sr. and Mary “Lois” Piper Hathcock.
Mr. Hathcock is survived by his high school sweetheart, wife of 51 years, Becky Jordan Hathcock; daughter, Wendy Coleman (Stacey); brother, James David Hathcock, II (Ronet) and grandchildren, Jacob Ware, Zachary Ware and Noah Ta.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Linda Hathcock and Yvonne Hathcock.
Terry retired from Neptune Water Meter Company after 41 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, bird watching and working in the yard. He loved his special furry friends, Sparky and Rarri.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 10:00am until service time at 11:00am at Westside Independent Baptist Church, 1825 Gilmer Avenue, Tallassee, Alabama 36078. A private family burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery on Wednesday.
