Sharron "Kaye" Little

Sharron “Kaye” Little, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on February 10, 1950, Kaye's life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and her warm spirit that touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Kaye shared a loving marriage of fifty-two years with her husband, Mr. William C. “Bill” Little. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Kaye was a proud mother to her son, Ryan Little, and his wife, Brandi, as well as her daughter, Shea Goolsby, and her husband, Stan. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to her six grandchildren: Cameron Little, Taylor Little, Alex Celka, Olivia Celka, Kaitlyn G. Miller, and Abbie Grace Goolsby. Each of her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in celebrating their achievements and milestones.

Kaye is also survived by her mother-in-law, Mabel T. Little, and several nieces and nephews, whose lives were enriched by her kindness and love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Hassell and Gladys Hassell Schmidt, as well as her brothers, Don Hassell and Jimmie Joe Hassell, and her sister, Carol Jean Sasser. The bond she shared with her family has left lasting impressions on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family of Sharron Kaye Little invites friends and loved ones to stop by and share in a Celebration of Life in her honor. This informal, drop-in gathering will take place on Saturday, June 7th, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., at the home of her daughter, Shea Little Goolsby, located at 49 Setter Trail, Pike Road, AL 36064. We welcome you to come as you’re able during this time to share your favorite memories and stories of Kaye.
