Our dear mother, Sally Nelson Mask, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, surrounded by family at her home in Tallassee, Alabama.

Graveside services will be on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:00AM at Union Cemetery in Dadeville, Alabama, with Reverend Richard Dorley officiating.

Pallbearers will be Clark Burton, Kevin Keyes, Brent Langley, Hadden Langley, Steven Smith and Nic Stockdale.

Ms. Sally is survived by her children, Steve (Judy) Mask, Linda (Robert) Langley and Lisa (Roger) Mathis. She had 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Ms. Sally is also survived by her brother, Richard Nelson and sister, Jennifer Robinson; her daughter-in-law, Sheryl Mask Veasey and son-in-law, Rex Ledbetter.

Ms. Sally is preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Mask; her children, Mack Mask and Lydia Ledbetter; her parents, Frank and Pinkie Nelson and siblings, Marion B. Nelson, Frankie Charles O’Daniel, Julia Fuller and Lurleen Pitchford.

Ms. Sally loved work and her family. She was a wonderful mother and example to her children. She also had several wonderful sitters over the years.
