As a self-employed cattle farmer, Roger dedicated his life to his craft, embracing the challenges and rewards that came with it. His work was not just a profession but a reflection of his values; it encompassed hard work, perseverance, and a profound respect for nature.
Roger was a loyal friend to many, including his lifelong friend, Randall Griffith, who will remember him for his kindness and genuine spirit. His circle of friends and acquaintances enriched his life, and he was known for his warm heart and welcoming demeanor.
He joins in eternal rest his parents, Ervim Royal and Shirley Pugh Jarvis, who preceded him in death. Their legacy lives on through Roger, who carried their values and teachings throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, honoring Roger’s memory and the impact he made during his time with us. He will be laid to rest at Sardis Cemetery in Dadeville, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, a place where he found peace and solace.
