Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Virginia Warren Ready, a lifelong resident of Tallassee, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at the age of 88. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at 11:00am from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Ready is survived by her children, Charles Michael “Mike” Warren (Janice), Teresa W. Stanford (Ralph) and John David Warren (Jane); five grandchildren, Troy Warren (Stephanie), Virginia Marie “Ginny” Poole (John), Taylor Warren, Kathy S. Zahul (Terry) and Stan Stanford (Suzanne); four great grandchildren, Kody Warren, Mary Katherine Stanford, Summer Stanford and Adam Thornton. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Hershall Warren and her second husband, Richard Earle Ready. She loved them both very much. Mrs. Ready retired from The Bank Of Tallassee, Tallassee, Alabama, after 35 years of service, having been employed there as Vice-President. “Jenny” was an avid golfer and continued to follow golf, although she could no longer play. She also loved football and we will miss her updates on all the games. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 19, 2013, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
