Shockley, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, September 30, 2011, at the age of 86.Funeral services will be Monday, October 03, 2011, at 11:00am at Riverside Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Billingsley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.Mrs. Shockley is survived by her five children, Danny Chandler (Phyllis), Betty Dunn (Tony), Susan Kelley (Ron), Melanie Karn (Doug) and Cheryl Hammock (Eddie); daughter-in-law, Maria B. Chandler; thirteen grandchildren; a host of great and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine Tippett and Sue Bass; several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Morris L. Shockley; son, William Aubrey Chandler; two brothers and two sisters.The family will receive friends Sunday, October 02, 2011, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.Mrs. Shockley will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
