Graveside services for family and close friends will be Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 11:00am at Carrville Cemetery with Minister Michael McElroy officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Ashurst is survived by her son, Brett Ashurst; granddaughter, Sarah Ashurst; great grandson, Sam Gantt; sister, Mary Beth Jones (Terry); brother, Sam Knowles (Fran); several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Starr Ashurst.
