Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Sandra Ann Barker McCarty, a resident of Notasulga, Alabama, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the age of 68. Funeral services will be Monday, March 02, 2015, at 11:00am at First Baptist Church, Reeltown with Rev. Faron Golden and Rev. Ryan Martin officiating. Mrs. McCarty will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Reeltown Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. McCarty is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mr. Maurice McCarty; sons, Tony McCarty (Lisa) and Kevin McCarty (Donna); daughter, Pam Bean (Eugene); grandchildren, Joshua McCarty, Tiffany McCarty, Eric Story, Ally Bean, Trent McCarty and Paige McCarty. She is preceded in death by her mother and step father, Claria and Bill Mims. Mrs. McCarty truly enjoyed being a board member and a first responder of the Reeltown Volunteer Fire Department. She always had a beautiful smile that she shared with everyone. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 01, 2015, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
