Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Sallie Morris, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at the age of 73. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 11:00AM from First Baptist Church, Tallassee, with Rev. Derek Gentle officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Sallie is survived by her children, Cindy Robinson (Michael), Mitch Woodall, Jr. (Amanda), Tammy Jones; son-in-law, Todd Owens and preceded in death by her daughter, Dee Dee Owens. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Clay, Chelsea, Carlee, Kaitlyn, Bryce, Caleb, Zack and Alex; sisters, Vicki Wadkins (Ricky) and Beckie Durden; brothers, Jimmy Durden (Brenda) and Marty Durden (Diane); close nieces, Lauren Robbins (Roger), Julie King (Scott) and Valerie Bowden (Randy); numerous other nieces and nephews and special cousin, Lil Hayes (Harry). Sallie is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ben D. Morris. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 27th , from 10:00AM until service time at First Baptist Church.
