Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Odessa Smith, a resident of Notasulga, Alabama, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012, at the age of 82. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at 11:00am from Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 63 years, Mr. Max Smith; three sons, Patrick D. Smith (Angie), Steven Keith Smith (Dottie) and Mitchel M. Smith (Nita); grandchildren, Hunter, Cole, Amber, Steven, Jessica, Rusty and Kevin; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Winslett, Martha Monroe, Louise Carmichael and Camira McGhee; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Ruby H. Ray and her sister, Eunice Clayton. Mrs. Smith was born in Tallapoosa County, graduated from Union High School and lived most of her life in the Beulah Community.
