Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Mary Jo “Doodle” Ledbetter, a resident of Eclectic, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the age of 91. Funeral services will be Friday, May 1, 2015, at 11:00am from East Tallassee United Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, May 1, from 10:00am until service time at the church. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Ledbetter is survived by her daughter and beloved caregiver, Vickie Williamson (Ronald) of Eclectic, Alabama; sons, Donald Ledbetter of Tallassee, Alabama and Howard Charles Ledbetter (Mary) of Wetumpka, Alabama; sisters, Jean Cannon and Doris Cooper, both of Montgomery, Alabama; grandchildren, Rex Ledbetter, Dennis Ledbetter, Pollyanna Fitzgerald, Petrina Hornsby (Chris), Joseph Ledbetter (Danielle), Danny Ledbetter (Kayla), Kimberly Travis (Eddie), Jo Holt (Wes), Jacoby Bruner (Kay), Cody, Mark and Jayden Williamson; 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. George Horace “Mule” Ledbetter; sons, Bobby Gene Ledbetter and Billy Joe Ledbetter; granddaughter, Emily Ledbetter; great grandson, Mason Tyler Ledbetter; father and mother, Jody and Effie Lou Cullars; brothers, Aaron “Bub” Cullars and James Harold “Snow” Cullars and sister-in-law, Nadine Cullars.
