Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Mary Charles Zeigler, a resident of Douglasville, Georgia, and formerly of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, March 03, 2015, at the age of 87. Graveside services will be Sunday, March 08, 2015, at 2:30pm from Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Randy Billingsley officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home Directing. Mrs. Zeigler is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Judy Zeigler Burks of Douglasville, Georgia; granddaughter, Samantha Jo Burks Hamrick (Daniel); great granddaughter, Rosemary Leigh Hamrick; five brothers, William Allen Brown (Bobbie), Ronald Brown (Jane), Donald Brown, Charles Thomas “Tommy” Brown (Shelia) and James Brown (Toni); sister, Betty Frances McManus (Sherrell); sister-in-law, Margaret Brown; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jack Milton Zeigler; sons, Jerry Zeigler and Terry Zeigler; son-in-law, Ben Burks; brother, Earl Brown and sister, Marlene Keiffer. Mrs. Zeigler was a charter member and a devoted Sunday School teacher at Riverside Heights Baptist Church in Tallassee, Alabama. She also was a special caregiver for many members of her family and extended family. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 08, 2015, from 1:00pm until service time at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
