Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mary Anne “Dixie” Robertson Seebacher, an Elmore County, Alabama native, has gone through the Western door following her mother and her forbearers, the Shawnee, to complete the Circle. This delightful, multicultural woman was also a direct descendent of Col. James Robertson, founder of Nashville. She met her husband, Jack, as a young widow and quickly became a valued asset to his Air Force career after they joined souls in marriage and were reassigned from Ohio, to Illinois, Montana and New York. “Wither thou goest, I go,” she said as they entered the civilian job market after Jack’s Air Force retirement in Pennsylvania. She was a valued Executive Assistant, holding both Insurance and Real Estate licenses. An avid horticulturist, she was also a Tennessee Master Gardener who loved dancing, skiing, motorcycling, shooting, quilting, scuba diving, karate and politics. A very outgoing personality, despite her physical pain, she was always available to help others whenever asked. She is survived by her husband, Jack Seebacher of South Pittsburg, TN; brother, John Robertson of Shelby, NC; children, Tammy Silvers of Acworth, GA and Christopher Seebacher of Atlanta, GA; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 12:00noon at Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (beside her parents, Joe T. & Rosalie Robertson) with Elder Marvin Paulk officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. “What does it profit a man to gain the world, but to lose his soulmate.” Jeffcoat Funeral Home Directing Tallassee, Alabama
