Mrs. Mary Ann Lawrence Nelson

Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Mary Ann Lawrence Nelson, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014, at the age of 94. She was the daughter of Virge and Belle Culver and was born August 21, 1919 in Clanton Alabama. Funeral services will be Monday, May 12, 2014, at 2:00 pm from First Baptist Church, Tallassee, Alabama, with Rev. Derek Gentle officiating. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 11:00 am from Greenwood Cemetery, for the immediate family, with Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her children, Martha Graham (Windell), Fred Lawrence (Freda), Morgan Lawrence (Pat) and Gene Lawrence (Linda); ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and her sister, Gladys Smith. Pallbears will be her grandsons. Many thanks go to Community Hospice and Community Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion. Special thanks also to Ms. Wayne Burton for her loving care and friendship in Mother’s last earthly days.
