She was born December 22, 1954, in Montgomery, Alabama to Mr. Charles Edward and Mrs. Margaret Louise Sanford. Mrs. Johnston is survived by her husband of 49 years, Mr. Phillip C. Johnston; sons, Tommy Pilgrim, Allan Clay Johnston, Johnathan Johnston; daughters, Tracy Sanford, Melissa Ann Johnston (Daniel) and Kimberly Johnston; eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and brother, Wayne Sanford. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Edward and Mrs. Margaret Sanford; two brothers and one sister. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00AM from Jeffcoat Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.
