Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Margie Ruth Ballentine Waites, a beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 27, 2014, at the age of 85. Funeral services will be Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00am from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating, burial to follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Waites is survived by her daughters, Susan Bateman, Linda Coppinger and Jan Mooty; grandchildren, Marla Covel, Tawanna Hussey (Donnie), Tommy Taunton (Melinda), Chris Howard, Jon Howard, Melaine Bell (Craig), Leslie Weinberg (Scott) and Dale Mooty, fifteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, sister, Opal Spangler and a beloved niece, Cindy Mitchell. Mrs. Waites is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Floyd Waites, parents, Eldridge and Irene Ballentine and her brother, Forrest Ballentine.
