Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Mack S. Ray, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013, at the age of 90. Funeral services will be Monday, November 18, 2013 at 2:00pm from Westside Independent Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Dorley officiating, burial to follow in Bethlehem East Baptist Church Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Ray is survived by her daughter, Peggy Joyce Nelms; son James Ray, Jr. (Debbie); grandchildren, Allen Nelms (Tracy), Kurtis Nelms (Tina), Kaley Haynie (Sam) and Dustin Ray (Shae); great grandchildren, Tyler Nelms, Gabrielle Nelms, Kyser Nelms, and Kyndall Nelms; two sisters, Billie Jordan and Bennie Lewis; brother-in-law, Billy Adamson; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Ann Kerns and many other friends in Orlando, Florida. A special thank you to Carolyn Gipson and Daisy Adamson for their devoted and loving care. Mrs. Ray is preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Mack Farrow, daughter, Sandra Faye Melton and sisters, Mildred Farrow and Shirley Adamson. Mrs. Ray retired from Sears Roebuck Company with 25 years of service. Memorial donations may be made to Westside Independent Baptist Church 1825 Gilmer Ave. Tallassee, Alabama 36078 or to Community Hospice Care, 805 Friendship Road, Tallassee, Alabama 36078. The family will receive friends from Jeffcoat Funeral Chapel, Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm.
