Funeral services will be Sunday, May 29, 2016, at 2:00PM from First Baptist Church, Tallassee, with Rev. Derek Gentle officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. She is survived by her son, Freddie F. Jones (Rita); daughters, Jerrie J. Christian and Rebecca “Bucka” J. Golden (Jackie); grandchildren, Jason Jones (Deidre), Jared Jones, LuAnne Clayton (Bob), Mark Christian (Michele), Ashley G. Newman, Travis Jones (Jennifer) and Eric Jones; several great and great great grandchildren; sister, Rachael Wells (Curt) and several nieces and nephews. She was a long avid domino player. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the second oldest member of the church. She is preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years, Charlie C. Jones; son, Mel Jones and daughter, Olivia Jones. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O.
