Funeral services will be Saturday, February 05, 2011, at 2:00pm from East Tallassee Church of Christ with Minister Toby Quinn and Minister Mike McElroy officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Mr. J. Edwin Davis, Sr.; son, J. Edwin Bubba Davis, Jr. (Gloria); daughters, Lisa East (Steve), Abby Coan (Chris) and Kelly Baker (Larry); sister, Lil Hayes (Harry); grandchildren, Brad Davis (Catherine), Bryan Davis (Cristal), Rachel East, Adam East, Beth East, Jake Coan, Logan Coan, Cody Baker, Bailey Jones (Melissa), Phillip Jones, Jason Jones and Jessica Milam (Bo) and 10 great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jane Davis Holloway; parents, Roy and Vic Tippett; granddaughter, Ashley Holloway; grandson, David Lee Baker; great grandson, Brady Bo Milam and brother, Mike Tippett.The family will receive friends Friday, February 04, 2011, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at East Tallassee Church of Christ.Mrs. Davis will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
