Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Linda (Short) Harrison, a resident of Lutz, Florida, formerly of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at the age of 68. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 03, 2013, at 11:00 am CST from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel, Tallassee, Alabama, with Rev. Derek Gentle officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing, Linda is survived by her husband, Mr. Wallace Harrison; daughters, Tina Harrison Schettina (David) and Cindy Harrison Davis (Gary); grandchildren, Cortney Bruce, Kristen Bruce, Megan Davis and Ashlynn Davis; brothers and sisters, John McKay Short (Rhonda), Patricia Casey (Lloyd) Terry Short (Elaine) and Judy Shaw (Errol); several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Debbie Short and a grandson, Justin Davis. Linda was a devoted and loving Mother, giving 100% to her children’s care. Her deep dedication and love extended to her brothers, sisters, deceased parents and all the friends she created in her lifetime. She filled the emptiness in anyone’s heart as they came to know her. Her final words were, “Wallace, see that the children are taken care of.” The family will receive friends Friday, August 02, 2013, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
