Graveside services will be Friday, September 12, 2014, at 11:00am at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Webb officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Friday, September 12, from 10:00am until 10:45am at Jeffcoat Funeral Home. Mrs. Varner is survived by her son, Andy Varner (June) of Abbeville, Alabama and her granddaughter, Kristen Varner of Auburn, Alabama; sister-in-law, Betty Culpepper (Stuart) of Dixon, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Raymond H. Varner. Mrs. Varner was a member of East Tallassee Baptist Church. She loved to fish and to cook (making sure everyone who came to see her was well fed.) Mrs. Varner was a loving Mom and a very loving Grandmother.
