Wilbanks, Sr.; her daughter, Sheila Wilbanks Kaylor of Richmond, Virginia; her son, Lenward C. Wilbanks, Jr., of Eclectic, Alabama; her grandchildren, Monica Gerow (John) of Richmond, Virginia, Laura Rodier (Bart) of Windermere, Florida, John Golden (Angie) of Farmville, Virginia, and her great grandchildren, Ryan Gerow and Ben Gerow of Richmond, Virginia, Garrett Griffin of Auburn, Alabama, Averett Griffin of Columbus, Georgia, Seth Golden and Noah Golden of Farmville, Virginia, Corbin Rodier and David Rodier of Windermere, Florida.Mrs. Wilbanks is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Lucille Mathews; her sisters, Frances Story and Wilma Neighbors and her granddaughter, Lisa Wilbanks Griffin.Mrs. Wilbanks was a person of deep faith and a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church in Tallassee, Alabama, for many years.Visitation will be Sunday, December 12, 2010, from12:00noon until 2:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following. Rev. Jack Stabler and Rev. Herman Knappwill be officiating.Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.Active Pallbearers will be Nolan Mathews, Jerry Story, Rondel Story, Seth Golden, Noah Golden and Corbin Rodier.Honorable Pallbearers will be Charles Totty, Ben Hornsby and Robert Funderburk.The family sincerely thanks caregiver, Kandra Henderson for her faithful kindness.
