She was born on March 27, 1962, in Providence, Rhode Island and has lived in Tallassee for seven years, with the last six years being her happiest. Memorial services will be Friday, April 22, 2011, at Union United Methodist Church, Highway 50, Dadeville, Alabama. A luncheon will be served at 12:00noon and the memorial service will immediately follow. Mrs. Lauderdale is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Wilson Lauderdale; one step son, Christopher Dias and three daughters, Nikki Dias, Irene Wilcox and Bridget Cusick, all of Rhode Island; sisters, Barbara Sherrill of North Carolina, June DeAngelis and Verna Prout and a brother, James Cusick, all of Florida. She is also survived by her three legged buddy, Bandit and her beautiful baby girl, Shadow.Mrs. Lauderdale is preceded in death by her sister, Jamie Woolsey.Mrs. Lauderdale was a rural mail carrier for the Eclectic Post Office for five years.
