Funeral services will be Saturday, September 25, 2010, at 11:00am from Prospect Baptist Church, Eclectic, Alabama, with Rev. Lamar Veazey officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.The family will receive friends on Friday, September 24, 2010, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home. Mrs. Peavy is survived by her three daughters, Kim Holloway (Craig), Bridgette Hatley and Gena Jackson (Joe) and her grandchildren, Brooke Luckie, Sondra Simmons, Jacqueline Jackson and Joseph Jackson.She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Steven D. Peavy; parents, Oscar Ray and Ella Mae Busby; brother, James Busby and sisters, Winnie McMillan and Edwina Busby.Mrs. Peavy was a native of Waynesboro, Mississippi, and a resident of Eclectic, Alabama, for 36 1/2 years.
