Mrs. Geraldine "Gerry" Bullard

Geraldine “Gerry” Bullard, age 78, passed away on July 29, 2020 while surrounded by her family. Geraldine Funderburk was born August 3, 1941 in Montgomery, Alabama to Rufus David and Mary Willie (Bice) Funderburk. Gerry was a soft-spoken caring individual with a heart of compassion. She worked retail for many years and was a professional seamstress. Each stitch she made was done with precision and love. In addition, Gerry enjoyed the outdoors with her favorite being the beach. She had a passion for rescuing animals and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings Henry “Pete” Funderburk and Clara “Polly” Inabinette. Survivors include her children, Terry (Bobby) Crump, Neal (Brannon) Bullard, and Nick (Holly) Bullard. She has one sister-in-law Mary Funderburk. She has 6 grandchildren, Kortney (Ryne) Long, Victoria (Colby) Crane, Jayda (Stephen) Fisher, Olivia Bullard, Isabella Bullard, Grant Belote, and one great-grandson Myles Crane. The family would like to express a special thank you to Cynthia and staff at The Plaza in Pascagoula, Mississippi. They also would like to extend a thank you to Hospice of Light. Funeral Services will be Monday, August 3rd at Macedonia Church in Tallassee, AL. Visitation will begin at 11 am with services following. Interment will be held at Macedonia Cemetery in Tallassee, AL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Jackson County Animal Shelter in Gautier, MS in honor of Gerry.
