GEAN GRIFFITH Memorial services for Mrs. Helon Lugean Stewart Griffith of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away at the age of 90, will be held at 11:00 AM on July 5, 2019 at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel in Tallassee, Alabama with Bro. Michael McElroy officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel. Helon was born on September 5, 1928 in Elmore County, Alabama to Henry Leon Stewart and Sarah Thelma Railey Stewart and entered eternal rest on July 1, 2019. She married Cecil M. Griffith of Tallassee, Alabama on March 11, 1953. Helon was a member of East Tallassee Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil on August 18, 2000; her two sons, Donald Leamon Griffith and Ronald Eugene Griffith and her sister, Mary Ethel Stewart Gantt. She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann McCary and husband, Norman of Jackson’s Gap, Alabama and one son, Stanley M.
