Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 1:00pm, from Rock Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. Ron Estes and Chaplain Paul Greger officiating, burial to follow in Rock Springs Baptist Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Slay is survived by her husband, Alton E. Slay; son, Winston Slay (Kathy); daughter Carol Garnett (Richard); grandchildren, David Slay ( Andrea), Corey Slay, Jenny Cooper, Jason Simms (Valerie), Janie Martin (Dale), Angel Pennington (Donnie), Andrew Garnett (Jessie) and Alison Garnett; 9 great grandchildren; brother, J. B. Davis; nieces, Joan Finney, Cindy Stokes and Beth Brown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ones favorite charity.
