Graveside services will be from Macedonia Christian Church Cemetery, Tallassee, Alabama, at 2:00pm, Friday, January 06, 2012. Evelyn leaves to cherish her sons; Bobby Shaw and Tony Hornsby (Debbie) of Montgomery, Alabama; sister, Eloise Rowe of Eclectic, Alabama; five granddaughters, Tammy Hornsby, Kim White (Taylor), Heather Grimes (Lee), Jacki Hornsby and Jessi Hornsby; three great grandchildren, Blake Dean, Marissa Carr and Bryant Grimes and one great great grandson, Braylen Dean. Mrs. Hornsby is preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles “Pete” Hornsby in 1986, and one son, Charles Edward Hornsby in 1971; her parents, James Edd and Henrietta Roberts; four sisters and three brothers. The family will receive friends Friday, January 06, 2012, from 12:00noon until 1:30pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
