Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Edna Willis, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, and formerly of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, January 01, 2012, at the age of 89. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 05, 2012, at 11:00am from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Bein officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughter, Connie Brodzinski (Jim) of Dothan, Alabama; grandson, Ben Brodzinski (fiancé, Ashley Turner) of Raleigh, NC; granddaughter, Kelly Brodzinski of Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law, Bobby Willis of Tallassee, AL; sisters-in-law, Wilma Hood of Notasulga, AL and Janet Willis of Avon Park, FL, and many special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Hughlon C. Willis; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alford Ash Weldon and fourteen brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, January 04, 2012, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alabama Sheriff’s Boys and Girls Ranch.
