Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Dorothy Taunton Ingram Teel, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at the age of 96. Funeral services will be Friday, December 15, 2017, at 11:00AM from Bethlehem East Baptist Church with Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Teel is survived by her children, Donna Ingram Ledbetter (Tim); grandchildren, Deonna Ledbetter Mullins (Jason), Scott Ledbetter (Beth); sister, Daisy (Snow) Woodruff; brother. Don Taunton (Mrytle). She is preceded in death by her husbands, Lincoln Ingram, Marshall Teel; children, Douglas Ingram, Jennifer Ingram and siblings, Maxi Taunton, Johnny Taunton, Donald (Buddy) Taunton, Laverne Taylor and Jimmy Payne. Mrs. Dorothy loved her family unconditionally. She also enjoyed working in the garden and having fresh vegetables. She taught Sunday school for many years and was a great witness and blessing to those around her. The family will receive friends Friday, December 15, from 10:00AM until service time at Bethlehem East Baptist Church.
