Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Diane Haak, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 01, 2014, at the age of 67. She was born September 17, 1946, in Monterey, California. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 03, 2014, at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, Tallassee, Alabama, with Rev. Dric Williford and Rev. Derek Gentle officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Haak is survived by her daughter, Heather Johnson (Marlon); son, Aaron Haak (Amanda); four grandchildren, Allison and Valerie Johnson, Evan and Ryan Haak. Mrs. Haak began teaching in 1968 in California and as her career, she taught children to read in California, Hawaii, Florida and Alabama. She will be remembered as being a wonderful Mom, Grandmother, Friend and Teacher. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Tallassee Elementary School Library, 850 Friendship Road, Tallassee, Alabama 36078.
