Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Diane Smith, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the age of 63. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 14, 2014 from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 noon, with Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Burial will be in New Liberty Cemetery, Lynn, Indiana, at a later date. Mrs. Smith is survived by her father, George C. Schaffer; three sons, Ridge Nutter (Brandi), George Nutter (Jo Lynn) and Mack Smith (Amanda); daughter, Paula Ashley Nutter; grandchildren, Brittany Hill, Justin Nutter, Tiffany Smith, Courtney Smith, Mallory Nutter, Sydney Soard, Will Smith, M. J. Smith, Tinley Nutter, Bailey Paris Smith and Jayden Smith; great grandson, Dawson Hill and several nieces and nephews. Diane enjoyed working with all her friends at Neptune for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, her faithful pet, Nikki, and working in her yard. She also enjoyed drinking coffee and spending time at home by her pool. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Shepard; grandson, Kaleb Allen Nutter and step-mother, Lillian Schaffer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society @ www.Cancer.org The family will receive friends from 10:30 until service time Monday at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
