Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Betty Hall Uptain Clark, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at the age of 85. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 2:00PM from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, Debra Dillard (Michael), Denise Harrison (Barry), Phyllis Myers (Randy), Phillip Uptain (Dawn); sister, Christeen Wayne Behselich of Wisconsin; brother in law, Robert “Buck” Maddox of South Carolina; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Arlin A. Uptain and second husband, Morris Clark and by her sister, Ann Maddox. Mrs. Clark was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Millbrook, Alabama. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 17, from 12:30PM until service time at Jeffcoat Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Hospice, 301 Interstate Park Drive, Montgomery, Alabama, 36109 or to her church, First Methodist, Millbrook, Alabama.
