Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Betty S. Butler, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013, at the age of 81. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Westside Baptist Church, Tallassee, Alabama, with Pastor Burton Herring and Trey Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Butler is survived by her sons, Steve Butler (Cathy) and Robin Butler (Penny); daughter-in-law, Linda Butler; nine grandchildren, Angel Miller, Michael Butler, Trey Butler, Beth Royster, Kami Scarborough, Larry Butler, Cody Butler, Matthew Butler, Reid Butler; seventeen great grandchildren; sister, Avalon Hicks and brother, Tom Slaughter. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Mr. Ned Butler, Sr. and her son, Ned Butler, Jr. Mrs. Butler was the co-founder of WTLS Radio in Tallassee and she was a longtime member of Westside Baptist Church.
