Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mrs. Alice Timmons Williams, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015, at the age of 63. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 19, 2015, at 11:00 am from The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, Tallassee, Alabama, with Minister Wells Warren officiating. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 11:00 am from Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, Florida, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Mr. Wayne Eda Williams; daughter, Malinda Lydia Williams (Glenn Patrick “PJ” Shackelford, Jr.); sister-in-laws, Bonnie Williams Kedjierski (Fred) and Sharon Williams Noonan (Tom); brother-in-law, J.C. Poole and numerous other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Madison Wesley and Eileen Lucille Timmons and her sister, Jewel Lee Poole. Alice and Wayne were married for forty one years. In 1975 Mrs. Williams graduated from the University of Florida and enjoyed teaching craft classes and summer enrichment classes to the youth in Baker County, Florida. For over twenty years, she was an active member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Children of the Confederacy and Daughters of the American Revolution. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society for over thirty five years and was an member of The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Tallassee. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 18, 2015, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
