She was a Life Master duplicate bridge player and consummate Scrabble player. An avid Atlanta Braves fan, she lived a number of places throughout the United States, from Arkansas to Montgomery to Mississippi, southern California, northern Virginia, south Florida, Minnesota, Louisiana and Georgia. Graveside services were held Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2:00pm from Forest Hills Memorial Park, 9504 U.S. Hwy. 331 South, Montgomery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home Directing. She is survived by her son, Emmett William McClain, Jr. (Pat) of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter, Lynda Williamson of Huntsville, Alabama; son-in-law, Peter B. Mastin of Dadeville, Alabama; four grandsons, Peter B. Mastin (Nora) Atlanta, Ga., George H. Mastin, (Ramona) Birmingham, William M. Mastin, (Belinda) Park City, Utah. and Charles W. Mastin, (Tara) Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., two grand-daughters, Mara Kathleen Friedlander (Avi) Birmingham, and Tonya Williamson, Huntsville, and ten great-grandchildren, Kaylynne Wyatt, Georgeanna Marie, John Nicholas, Peter Blackwell, Yan Gabriel, River Indigo, Jindy Oceena, Jack Wyatt ,Quinn McClain Mastin and Elan Friedlander and her sister, Martha Holmes Greenwood of Arlington Heights, Illinois, She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmett William McClain of Montgomery; daughter Carolyn Wyatt McClain Mastin of Montgomery and Tallassee; parents George and Aileen Holmes of Rison, Arkansas; brothers; George H.
