Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. John Leon Lamberth, a resident of Eclectic, Alabama, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at the age of 86. Funeral services will be Monday, March 5, 2018, at 11:00AM from Prospect Baptist Church, with Pastor George Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dolores Lamberth; children, Alan Lamberth (Cathy), Cheryl Roberson (Wilbur), Karen Colley (Warren) and Joseph “Jody” Lamberth; twelve grandchildren, Amanda Potts (Jeff), Joshua Lamberth, Cathleen Schultz (Jeremy), Kimberley Roberson, Timothy Roberson (Jennifer), Robbie Roberson, Jonathan Colley (Jessie), Michael Colley (Sunnye), Joseph Ellis, Kaden Lamberth, Logan Lamberth and Hunter Lamberth; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Myrtle Lamberth; grandson, Officer David Lee Colley and his brother, Arthur Glen Lamberth. He loved his family. After retirement he continued with the projects he loved so dearly, wood working and gardening The family will receive friends Sunday, March 4, 2018, from 3:00PM until 5:00PM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
