Mr. William Moore Delong

Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. William M. DeLong, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015, at the age of 87. He was born October 30, 1927. Mr. DeLong is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mrs. Pam A. DeLong; daughters, Donna DeLong Godbee (Emmitt) of Birmingham, Alabama, and Molly DeLong Tousignant of Lake Martin, Alabama; son, Doug DeLong of Helena, Alabama; grandchildren, Rene Alldredge, Matt Steele, Kelly Tousignant, Katie Tousignant, Alex DeLong and Krissy DeLong; great granddaughter, Evelyn Steele. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald H. and Beulah Moore DeLong and his wife, Nancy M. DeLong. Mr. DeLong was a graduate of the University of Miami. He was an Engineer in the Construction Industry for over fifty years. He also played Semi-Pro Baseball for a number of years. Mr. DeLong served in the United States Marines and he was a Veteran of the Korean War. After Mr. DeLong retired, he worked for Loomis Fargo Security in Montgomery, Alabama, for several years.
