Funeral services will be Sunday, October 06, 2013, at 2:00 pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herbert Edmiston officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Griffith is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susie F. Mims Griffith; mother, Mrs. Mary Griffith; children, Deborah Harris (Tim), William Earl Griffith (Donna), Robbie Lucas (fiancé, Jerry Baker) and Melissa Prater (Doug); brothers, Leroy Griffith (Joan) and J.C. Griffith (Margie); eleven grandchildren, Sherry Rodgers (Chris), Scott Willis (Cristina), Mathew Griffith (Rachel), Samantha Jo Griffith, Abigail Grace Griffith, Shelby Page Griffith, Anthony Thornton (Candace), Kayla Thornton, Christopher Stalnaker (Angi), Panda Fomby (Tyler) and Jordan Hutton; great grandchildren, Belle Cooper, Dawson Willis, Madelyn Thornton, Ashlynn Griffith, Xander Fomby and soon to arrive, Jax Stalnaker; sister-in-law, Carol Miller and her children, Angi Miller and Leanne Parish. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mrs. Patricia Ann Griffith. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, October 05, 2013, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
