Cooter Langford, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at the age of 76.Funeral services will be Friday, October 14, 2011, at 11:00am at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.Mr. Langford is survived by his sister, Mrs. Betty Boddie (Roy); nephews and nieces, Steven Humphries (Casilda), Cynthia Posey (Tharron), William Humphries, Warren Humphries, Scott Langford (Linda) and Ginny Murphy (Norman); nine great nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Cheryl Langford.He is preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Margaret Maddox Langford; his brother, James Donald Langford and a great niece.William especially enjoyed being with people and being at Lake Martin. He also enjoyed working word search and watching sports on television.The family will receive friends Friday, October 14, 2011, from 10:00am until service time at Jeffcoat Funeral Home.
