Funeral services will be Thursday, June 12, 2014, at 11:00 am from Tallaweka Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Harrison and Rev. Isaac Kervin officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Harrison is survived by his son, Don Harrison (Christy); daughter, Cynthia Smith (Larry); grandchildren, Chad Harrison (Kathleen), Brett Harrison (Lisa), Matt Harrison (Dianne), Geni Abernathy (Jason), Jeremy Smith, Austin Smith (Alyson) and Leah Allen (John); great grandchildren, Katelyn Harrison, Ashley Harrison, Ab Abernathy, Rebekah Harrison, Jackson Harrison, Nevie Abernathy, Emma Harrison, Chloe Harrison, Gabe Abernathy, Brayden Smith, Cate Harrison, Grayson Smith, and soon to be baby boy Smith; brother, Thomas Thurl Harrison (Lorraine); several nieces and nephews. Mr. Red is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Mrs. Margaret McLain Harrison and brother, Vestin Harrison. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Tallaweka Baptist Church, 1419 Gilmer Ave., Tallassee, Alabama, 36078.
