Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Sayers, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the age of 76. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 2:00PM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home with Rev. Floyd Carmack officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. He is survived by his children, Ruthie Alice McDonald (Kelly), William Edwin Sayers (Ashley); grandchildren, Lindsey Parker (Matt), Molly Katherine Harris, Samantha Harris, Chance McDonald, Kathryn Sayers and two great grandchildren; sisters, Ruthie Sexton (Art) and Marie Tarvin (Bob) and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his wife, Antrice Sayers; parents, Jack and Evelyn Sayers and brother, Billy Sayers. Mr. Sayers loved his family and loved people. Often he would sit and watch people as they went by in their daily routines. He was very stubborn and hardheaded but loved everyone around him. He will be greatly missed by all.
