Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Steven Adolphus Daniel, Jr., a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at the age of 72. He passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Steve succumbed to critical injuries suffered in a fall while working on the family home on December 13, 2012. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on September 05, 1940, to Marjorie Kent Daniel and Steven Adolphus Daniel, Sr. Funeral services will be Friday, July 26, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Tallaweka Baptist Church with Rev. Isaac Kervin officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mrs. Charlotte Johnston Daniel; son, Steven A. Daniel, III (Brandy); daughter, Susan Elizabeth Daniel; a precious grandson, Randell Alden Daniel; two sisters, Joy Manning (Robert) and Sandy Locke (Kevin); mother-in-law, Sara Johnston; two brothers-in-law, Edward Johnston and Donald “Moose” Johnston; sister-in-law, Marilyn Johnston; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Margie, father, Dolphie and his brother, Allen Kent Daniel. Pallbearers will be Gerald Carroll, Kevin Locke, Robert Manning, John Nummy, Kenny Ankers and Billy McPhearson. The family will receive friends Friday, July 26, 2013, from 12:30 pm until service time at Tallaweka Baptist Church.
