Memorial services will be Thursday, February 26, 2015, at 11:00 am from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Scarborough officiating. Mr. Thornton is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha A. Atkins, Eclectic, Alabama; sister, Mrs. Bobbie Jean Bosclair, Auburn, Alabama; brothers, Mr. James C. “Billy” Thornton and Mr. John Wayne “Johnny” Thornton and several nieces and nephews.
