Funeral services will be Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 10:00AM from St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church with Father Mateusz Rudzikk officiating. Burial will follow in The Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Al., at 2:00PM, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Batten is survived by his wife Bobbi Batten; children, Samantha Ondyak (Kevin) and Kristen Davis (James); grandchildren, Hannah Rudisill, Rachel Rudisill, Riley Davis, Ivy Davis and Sophia Ondyak; great grandson, Gavin Guzman; brother, Jeff Batten and nephew, Taylor Batten. He is preceded in death by his mother, June Paxton Batten and his brother, Cameron Batten. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Father Francis Lynch Seminarian Fund, 620 Gilmer Avenue, Tallassee, Alabama, 36078.
