Funeral services will be Friday, November 06, 2015, at 4:00 PM from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Father Charles Troncale officiating. Mr. Bird is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carol Bird; son, Robert Jacob “Jake” Bird; brothers, Rex Joseph Bird and Richard James Bird and sister, Rebecca Bird. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Ruth Bird and sister, Ruth Ann Bird. Mr. Bird retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation and the United States Air Force Reserve.
