Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Robert Howard Hill, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Thursday, April 05, 2012, at the age of 83. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 07, 2012, at 2:00pm from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Marvin Paulk and Rev. Gerald Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Mrs. Naomi Faulk Hill; daughter, Cathy Traywick (Roy) of Wetumpka, AL, and son, Jimmy Hill of Tallassee, AL; grandchildren, Lance Traywick (Michelle) of Sevierville, TN, Christi Franklin (Stephen) of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Josh Hill (Melissa) of Tallassee, AL; great grandchildren, Tyler Traywick, Brody Traywick, Cora Franklin, Hudson Franklin and Seth Hill; step children, Bruce Faulk (Carla) and Tammy Nabors (Butch); granddaughters, Brittany Nabors and Heather Large (John); sisters, Nellie Ballentine (James), Mae Gibson, Flora Owens (Wayne), Martha Stough (Louie) and Brenda Taylor; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mrs. Martha Owens Hill. Mr. Hill retired from Mount Vernon Mills after 45 years of service and he was an avid fisherman. Mr. Hill was known to be a “people person” and truly loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Gary Shaw, Kim Peters, Stephen Franklin, Josh Hill, Chris Hethcock and Phillip Hethcock.
