He was born September 28, 1942. Memorial services were held January 31, 2014, at the VFW Post 4572 in Wetumpka, Alabama, with Rev. Forrest Weekley officiating. Mr. Flournoy is survived by his sons, Rob Flournoy (Kim) and Brad Flournoy (Darryllynn); daughter, Amy Christopher Peterson (Danielle); seven grandchildren, Abbie, Tyler, Ryan, Bryce, Drew, Morgan and Olivia; sister, Jewell McGee (Mickey); brother, Joel Flournoy; nieces, Heather Sayers and Amber; nephew, Tyler Sayers and very special friend, Diane Arant. He is preceded in death by his parents, R J and Alice Flournoy and his brother, Paul Flournoy.
