Jeffcoat Funeral Home 255 Friendship Road Tallassee, AL 36078 Tel (334) 283-6801 Mr. Ralph Doyle “Randy” Fulmer, II, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, and formerly of Eclectic, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012, at the age of 58. Funeral services will be Friday, March 30, 2012, at 11:00am from Frazer United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Alabama, with Dr. John Ed Mathison and Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home of Tallassee, Alabama, directing. Mr. Fulmer is survived by his mother, Mrs. Betty J. Williams Fulmer of Eclectic, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph D. Fulmer, CMSgt, USAF, Ret. After retiring from BellSouth with 25 years of service, Randy was appointed CEO of Alabama Supercomputer Authority and has held this position for the last ten years. He was a graduate of the Elmore County High School Class of 1972 and he attended the University of Southern Mississippi on a football scholarship. Randy later graduated from Auburn University with a BS Degree and obtained a Master’s Degree from Auburn Montgomery. He was a longtime member of Frazer United Methodist Church. He was an avid supporter of many charities, especially the Montgomery and Elmore County Humane Societies because of his love for animals. Randy enjoyed playing golf, dominoes and attending sporting activities with his friends and their children. The family will receive friends Friday, March 30, 2012, from 9:00am until 11:00am at Frazer United Methodist Church.
